John Hawley

John Hawley brings more than 25 years of experience to his work as an attorney. He has a general practice of law concentrating on criminal and traffic defense, personal injury, and bankruptcy.


Attorney John Hawley, a former Sheboygan County Assistant District Attorney, serves as one of the prosecutors for the Village of Elkhart Lake and the Town of Lyndon. He has previously acted as a special prosecutor for the City of Sheboygan, Sheboygan County, and other municipalities.

Attorney Hawley has successfully represented thousands of individuals throughout his career, earning him a reputation for success. His experience as both a prosecutor and a defense lawyer makes his skills invaluable to his clients.

Attorney Hawley is an active member of the community. He served on the Random Lake Board of Education for 20 years, including 19 years as president. In recognition of his service to the school, a library and scholarship were dedicated in his name.

The National School Boards Association gave him an award for distinguished service, recognizing his work as president of the Wisconsin Association of School Boards and president of the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association.

Attorney Hawley has also been active in state and local bar association activities, serving as a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin's Local Bar Grant Competition Committee. He has been recognized by Legal Services of Northeastern Wisconsin for his contributions to providing legal services to individuals.

He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, Sheboygan County Bar Association, and the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
